In today’s News Of The Weird, Randy Travis has been arrested.
It’s reported that he was
“…under suspicion of public intoxication after being spotted in his vehicle in front of the … First Baptist Church. The arresting officer said the car smelled of alcohol and contained an open bottle of wine.”
I like Randy and personally think he was just trying to combine four of his songs: Baptism, Are We In Trouble Now, Gonna Walk That Line, Price To Pay. Could be worse, though. He could have combined Runaway Train, Til I’m Dead And Gone, Three Wooden Crosses, Dig Two Graves, Digging Up Bones, Out of My Bones, and Angels.
Dude likes songs about bones and digging. And death. Gotta give him that.
PS: Maybe it’s just me, but he’s getting a bit close to looking like Jim Bakker with better hair. And Jim was also arrested at a church. Hmmm…
