If you’re looking for a car-buying experience with NO HIDDEN FEES, then maybe you
shouldn’t should consider a place that advertised in today’s (Jackson) Clarion-Ledger. Keep in mind that the full page ad shows lots of cars for sale with the headline:
GET 2.99% FINANCING, UP TO 72 MOS WAC (What is a WAC?) ALL PRICES ARE ACTUAL PRICES WITH NO HIDDEN CHARGES!
I guess that’s true, because if you look at the bottom of the ad in small print, you will see:
PAYMENTS FIGURED WITH $1,500 DOWN PLUS TAX, TITLE, LICENSE AND $289.50 CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EVERY VEHICLE.
So, you see, they aren’t technically hidden since they are printed right here on the ad. I’m just wondering why they didn’t put that in letters as big as the ones that say “NO HIDDEN CHARGES”?
Oh, well. Who cares? I say go ahead and get a new car for your spouse. I think that would be a great trade. Think they would take my old car? It’s the Pontiac Debris. Runs like a top.
