This, from TripAdvisor:
We’ve examined the most expensive cities to travel to … according to Trip Index by Trip Advisor. But what about budget travelers? Asia is clearly the way to go this summer, as Trip Index determined… A taxi ride for $1.71? You can find that in Beijing. Cocktails for two people for $9.45? Head to Bangkok.
You damn people are out of your mind. Yeah, a taxi is $1.71. But for how many miles? Can I take it to, say… Nepal? Can you even go from Beijing to Nepal in a taxi? I’m guessing yes. Anyway, you can get cocktails for two people under $9.45 at a MILLION places. And NONE of those apparently made TripAdvisor’s list. Here is my top 3 cheapest places to visit:
3. Marks, Mississippi
No red lights, no places to eat (except the one McDonald’s) and lots of farmland. Welcome to paradise.
2. Bovina, Mississippi
No red lights, no places to eat (except the convenience store) and lots of wooded areas. Welcome to paradise.
1. Cruger-Tchula, Mississippi
No red lights, no places to eat (period) and lots of crime. You won’t spend ANY money!! But that’s only because it will be stolen from you before you get past the “Welcome to Cruger-Tchula” sign.
Eat, drink and be merry because tomorrow you may be calling the police and filing a robbery report. Just call me Mr. Travel Agency. Pay in advance, please. You may not have the money when you get back.
